Tax Return address for Self Assessment – what is it?

Need to send in your Self Assessment Tax Return via post and require the address? Despite the fact that tax returns have increasingly gone online, with people preferring to fill in and file online, the HM Revenue and Customs do still offer a physical address for paper returns. If you’re one of the many people who still fill out your Tax Return on paper, and would like to send yours in to the Self Assessment address, you can do so with the postal address below. This is the postal address for Tax Return general enquiries, and can be used for anything except Self Assessment complaints – correspondence for that should be done to the address further down the page. Send in your completed tax returns, documentation, or general enquiries to the following address:

Self Assessment
HM Revenue and Customs
BX9 1AS
United Kingdom

The postal address for Self Assessment Tax Returns complaints is:

PAYE and Self Assessment Complaints
